Rylan & Stephen

A single ribbon on a single chair made you an active part of the wedding experience.

Rylan and Steve created a wedding experience that was so wholesome, so family. They made it a point to not only have their guests watch their ceremony but their guests were active. Some participated by reading heartfelt messages to the couple, others led the ceremony, while others had no idea how they would be participating by sitting in a chair tied with a simple ribbon.

If you sat in the chairs with ribbons…you became their witness and signed their marriage certificate.

You could feel the value of each person in the space that day. Memory of those who passed before, those who couldn’t join due to other circumstances, and even the family dog. Everyone was present and the day curated around their impact in the couple’s life.

Every person. Thought of. Your people matter.

Rylan was stunning in her lace gown surrounded by her bridesmaids who all wore different summer pastels. Steve was calm and collected while waiting for his bride. The joy from both sides of the bridal part radiated into the late evening hours.

After a purposeful ceremony guests entered the cocktail hour for a plethora of delicious cocktail options. The laughter began, the food consumed, and the couple met with each of their guests.

The night erupted into song, cheers, and dance as the couple entered the reception while sparklers and smoke filling the dance floor. Rylan and Steve know how to celebrate and that was their main goal of wedding day. To say “I DO” and then get lost in the night with their people.

The couple celebrated their people and their people celebrated the couple. The love and value of each person was felt throughout the entire day.

Rylan & Steve,

Thank you so much for letting me not only celebrate you both but to see how deeply you love your people. Being brought in to these relationships felt warm and valuable. Keep loving your people so well. You two together are a wonderful example of how a couple becomes stronger together and how to use your talents together. Everyone in your presence feels welcomed and that is a gift that the world needs.

Congrats, and enjoy the next adventure!

Steph
